
Description
The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Physician-Scientist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Responsibilities include establishing a dynamic, independently funded research program in the area of fundamental or applied immunology while working synergistically and collaboratively with other investigators in the department. Successful applicants are expected to participate in medical and graduate student teaching. High-quality laboratory space and excellent start-up support are provided. We seek a physician-scientist with training in Clinical Pathology who could contribute to service in the Clinical Immunology Lab or other sections within the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Laboratories.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will hold an MD, or MD/PhD degree and be physician-scientists with outstanding research accomplishments and a record of success in competing for independent research funding. Candidates should be trained and Board Certified in Clinical Pathology (CP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP). Rank and remuneration are determined by qualifications and experience.
